Women's Africa Cup of Nations News

A severe leg injury sustained by South Africa's Gabriela Salgado overshadowed the first Women's Africa Cup of Nations semifinal in Casablanca on Tuesday, as Nigeria defeated reigning champions Banyana Banyana 2-1 to progress to Saturday's final.

Women's Africa Cup of Nations hosts Morocco dispatched Ghana 4-2 on penalties following a 1-1 draw at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat to set up a final showdown with Nigeria at the same venue on Saturday.
