  • 0': Hello and welcome to the live commentary for tonight's semi-final, second leg at Stade Gerland.
  • 0': Lyon leave Pjanic and Kallstrom on the bench, with Lisandro Lopez leading the attack.
  • 0': Bayern, meanwhile, stick with Muller and Olic in attack. In defence, Contento keeps his place at left back while Badstuber comes in for centre back Demichelis, who had to come off at the weekend.
  • 0': Demichelis, though, is among the substitutes along with the likes of Klose and Gomez.
  • 0': Bayern are without Pranjic and Ribery, of course, thanks to their yellow and red cards in the first leg. Altintop returns to the starting line-up as a result.
  • 0': Lyon are also without Jeremy Toulalan after he picked up two bookings in quick succession last week.
  • 0': Lyon performed well below their capabilities in the first leg and, even when they had an extra man, were unable to compete.
  • 0': Bayern have made a habit of scoring away goals, so Lyon will need to improve substantially if they are to turn this around.
  • 0': The teams are out on the pitch.
  • 0': Lyon get the game underway!
  • 1': Schweinsteiger looks to thread a ball through for Bayern early on, but Lyon get it clear.

  • 3': Olic won possession on the right and centred for the unmarked Muller, but he failed to hit the target!
  • 6': Van Buyten concedes a corner and Lyon have a chance.
  • 7': The corner takes a touch from Delgado and Cris comes in at the far post, but it's just too high for him to get anything much on the header.
  • 8': Bastos tries to put a cross in from the right, but it's cleared by Badstuber.
  • 8': Lyon look in greater control at the moment after that early scare.
  • 9': Lahm does well to deny Cissokoh down the left flank.
  • 9': Robben looks to weave some magic down the right but it's a poor cross.
  • 10': Muller pulls a shot right across the face of goal! It was off target and there was no one to direct it in.
  • 10': There are shouts for a penalty as the fans believe Lahm used his arm to control the ball in the area. The ref waves the appeals away.
  • 11': Muller looks to slip Olic in but it's a poor pass indeed. Muller has not made a good start.
  • 12': Delagado crosses from the left but there's no one anywhere near it. Disappointing.
  • 13': Contento makes a mess of his clearance while trying to deal with Bastos but Bayern escape.
  • 14': Van Buyten is caught by Lisandro and looks in a bit of pain.
  • 15': Robben loses possession to Delgado and Lyon have the chance to break, but Lisandro is quickly closed down.
  • 16': Cris gives the ball to Altintop and he finds Van Bommel, but the midfielder tries a speculative shot that is easily blocked.

  • 23': Cris does brilliantly well to clear Altintop's cross.
  • 23': Bastos breaks on the counter but loses possession as he approaches the penalty area. Bayern break away and Van Bommel wins a free-kick. Yellow card for Gonalons and he'll miss the final.
  • 24': Altintop gets a booking for a petulant foul on Govou after losing the ball out on the left flank.
  • 25': Lyon finally put together a good bit of football, but Bastos sends his cross to close to Butt.
  • 26': Robben drives at the defence and finds Olic, but he's given little space.
  • 26': GOAL FOR BAYERN!
  • 26': Bayern may well have won it - Olic is allowed to turn and shoot from Muller's pull-back.
  • 26': Muller did very well there, and Olic continues to impress in this competition with his fifth goal in nine games.
  • 28': Lyon need to score three times in little over an hour if they are to rescue this now.
  • 31': Bastos misses a gilt-edged chance! The ball arrives for the unmarked Brazilian at the far post, but he sends it wide!

  • 36': Altintop heads the corner clear at the near post.
  • 36': Muller breaks away down the right and looks to find Robben in a central position, but Bastos gets back well to defend.
  • 37': Robben tries to launch a counter but runs into trouble.
  • 38': Delgado looks to have found Govou in space on the right of the area, but his pass is really poor.
  • 38': Gonalons tries a long-range shot but fluffs it horribly. Bayern break and Robben wins a corner.
  • 42': Altintop does brilliantly to break away and slips the ball through for Robben, but he's just offside.
  • 44': Another Lyon attack breaks down as the offside flag goes up. They've made few inroads tonight and Bayern look the more likely to add to their tally.
  • 45': Delgado receives the ball in the area but takes far too long over the shot and his effort is blocked.
  • 45': It's half-time.
  • 45': It's been a poor night so far. Bayern have done what they've needed to and look assured of a place in the final. Lyon, though, have been woeful.
  • 45': Join us in the second half to see if Lyon can spark a revival.
  • 46': The second half is underway!
  • 46': Lyon have made a change with Gomis on for Cissokoh.
  • 46': Bayern, meanwhile, have brought Demichelis on for Van Buyten.
  • 48': Bayern seem to be controlling the pace at the start of this second half. Lyon need to get a grip on things and score a goal in the next few minutes.
  • 50': Robben does well to feed Muller, but Cris puts in a great challenge on the edge of the area.
  • 50': Gomis has a free shot at the far post but, taking it first time on the volley, he blazes well over the bar.
  • 53': Schweinsteiger fires a spectacular first time shot on the counce from distance and it goes just over the bar! Robben did well in the build-up.

  • 55': Delgado puts the ball hopelessly out of play. He's been really poor.
  • 57': Robben curls a shot in on goal and it bounces just in front of Lloris, but he's able to tip it wide for a corner. Good save.
  • 57': Olic completely fails to make contact with the corner! That could have put the game to bed once and for all.
  • 58': Lyon look to make something on the edge of the area, but Bayern's defence is resolute.
  • 59': CRIS IS SENT OFF!
  • 59': Cris brings down Olic and picks up a booking even though he looked to have won the ball. It ruled him out of the final and he saracastically applauded the decision, so he gets a second yellow.
  • 60': It's poor refereeing, but at least it doesn't look like it will change the course of the game.
  • 61': Lyon try to catch Bayern off guard and Govou forces a save from Butt. The ball comes back out and Makoun injures Altintop.
  • 62': Altintop is limping from the field. It was a poor challenge as they went in for a 50/50 challenge.
  • 63': Altintop is okay.
  • 64': Lahm crosses into the centre for Olic, but the striker is offside.
  • 65': Lyon, strangely, look as good as they have at any point in this tie despite losing Cris. Still little sign of a goal, though.
